Alex Kalafatis is Vice President of Product Management at AspenTech. He is responsible for the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management Product portfolio. He has spent most of his 25-year career in the area of Control and Optimization of the Process Industries across Refining, Upstream, Chemicals and Polymers.

Alex is a strong believer of the value of the digital transformation in industrial facilities as a critical factor in achieving new levels of operational excellence including energy efficiency, emissions reduction and sustainability with profitability.

Alex Kalafatis holds both a Masters and a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
