Recent Developments in Object Modeling Open New Era for Characterization of Fluvial Reservoirs
Fluvial depositional environments play a major role in hydrocarbon reservoirs and have therefore received considerable attention in the domain of reservoir modeling.
This article discusses different techniques applied to fluvial reservoir characterization and modeling and introduces a new algorithm that can incorporate different landforms into the reservoir model to improve representation of fluvial depositional environments.
