We have always believed in the potential of the IIOT to help capital-intensive industries unlock greater business value. Industrial businesses face a diverse set of challenges including evolving market pressures, government regulations and expectations to digitally transform. To help business leaders keep pace, we launched the Aspen AIoT Hub — a versatile, comprehensive platform designed to support industrial businesses navigating a variety of digital initiatives.   

Over the past two years, our platform has empowered businesses to intelligently aggregate data from both on-premises systems and the cloud to achieve more efficient IIOT solutions. Iindustrial corganizations struggled to gather data in ways that helped them meet evolving business needs. But the Aspen AIoT Hub  offers businesses access to improved data visualization, historical contextualization and analysis that is easy to act on. 

How has the Aspen AIoT Hub helped businesses?

Before partnering with AspenTech, ORYX GTL, a gas-to-liquids (GTL) facility converting natural gas to liquid products, lacked centralized production data, analysis tools for evaluating data and effective issue detection processes. For a multifaceted challenge like this, we deployed two AspenTech solutions: Aspen IP.21 Historian™ (IP21) and AspenONE Process Explorer™ (A1PE). Aspen IP21 compiled data from multiple sources while A1PE generated monitor reports, process graphics and dashboards to visualize that data. As a result of our partnership, ORYX GTL integrated our solutions with their MES portal to establish an all-in-one platform for MES applications, data, records and KPIs.
