AspenTech Selected as a Gold Winner in Twelfth Annual Team Massachusetts Economic Impact Awards
Bedford, MA -

Aspen Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: AZPN), a leading provider of software and services to the process industries, has been named the Gold winner for the Northeast region in the twelfth annual Team Massachusetts Economic Impact Awards presented by MassEcon. The awards honor companies throughout the Commonwealth that have made an outstanding contribution to the Massachusetts economy. Winners were selected based on job growth, facility expansion, investment and community involvement.

AspenTech was nominated in recognition of the company’s recent relocation and expansion to a new global headquarters in Bedford, Massachusetts. The three building, 140,000 square foot campus is located in Bedford’s Crosby Corporate Center and was designed to support the company’s growth plans and focus on collaboration. The facility has a contemporary open floor plan, several casual breakout and collaboration areas, and many informal “huddle rooms” throughout the campus.

During the new headquarters project, AspenTech worked with a number of leading service providers in the real estate community including Cushman & Wakefield, Diversified Project Management, Erland Construction, Spagnolo Gisness & Associates, National Development and the Town of Bedford. The project was completed in February 2015.

A ceremony to honor the winners will be held on November 24 at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel, with guest speakers including Massachusetts Governor Charles D. Baker.
