In its deployment of AVA™ Advisor for AspenTech DMC3 at the Toledo Refinery, AI-driven operational guidance and nonlinear modeling were implemented and evaluated on large, complex controllers to support safe expansion of MV limits and enhanced unit responsiveness.

Beyond controller performance, AVA was assessed as a real-time learning and communication tool to help operators build confidence in APC actions and deepen their understanding of controller behavior.
