Saras launched the digital transformation program in 2016, with a strong commitment from top management. Boston Consulting Group supported the development of a “Refinery of the future” vision and the overall program implementation. Among the main areas of interest highlighted during the “Discovery phase”, Predictive Maintenance was one of the most promising, especially for the possible benefits in terms of lower production losses.
