Aspen Supply Chain Connect is an enterprise-levelsolution that seamlessly integrates the aspenONE® Planning andScheduling suite with ERP solutions. It has the ability to rapidlymove huge quantities of real-time data from multiple sourcesthrough a relational database repository, providing the foundationfor multi-user collaborative planning and scheduling, web-basedreporting, and analytics. Aspen Supply Chain Connect is acore element of AspenTech’s aspenONE Planning and Schedulingapplications.

- Product Components: Supply Chain DataRepository, Integration Engine, Data Manager, and ModelManager
- Supply Chain Data Repository: Serves as thecentral hub and synchronization server for all the key businessdata exchanged with ERP systems or data warehouses, as well as dataexchanged between business functions and aspenONE Planning andScheduling applications. Also built in are a number of referentialintegrity checks that allow the repository to optionally addmissing data to the tables.
- Integration Engine: Uses high-performance ETLtechnology to extract, transform, and load data for AspenTechsolutions. This integration engine executes all data transformationfunctions in-memory optimizing the transformation speed and canload the Supply Chain data repository directly with the ERPextracted bulk data or use a distributed architecture approach.
- Data Management: A reporting and editing toolfor quickly accessing and analyzing information either forvalidation or as part of the business process. It provides a datacollection and retrieval facility to allow manual data entry andimport/export of Excel data. Also provided is role-based accesscontrol for managing data in the centralized database.
- Model Management: Controls access and storageof the applications for each business unit or functional area,essential for companies with centralized support or automated batchprocesses and facilitates checking models in and out. It alsoincludes the business processes required to control access andmanage changes to the Supply Chain Planning applications.
