Aspen Scheduling Insight is a web-based application that allows companies to integrate scheduling with manufacturing execution, enabling collaborative production management. Customers deploying Aspen Scheduling Insight achieve savings of US$200 - $300K per year through improved perfect order performance and the reduction of manufacturing and expediting costs, over and above scheduling benefits alone. Aspen Scheduling Insight is an element of AspenTech’s aspenONE® Supply Chain applications.
Features
Multi-User Collaborative Environment: Web-based interface presents production and scheduling information in a single, multi-user environment for easy access and comparison. Visibility is provided to actual production record detail at the lot/batch level, active production schedules by site (including links to customer demand by activity and item level inventory projections), schedule scenario comparison, schedule vs. actual Gantt views, and problems reports by schedule scenario.
Web Planning Board: Provides detailed site production schedules and actual production updates. Provides links to process and customer orders for execution and problem resolution and a graphical view of the current process status from -7 to +7 days.
Scheduling Analytics: Provides interactive reports for scheduled activities across all production locations to better facilitate planning. Web-based reports and analysis available from published production schedule and any comparison schedule. Reports available include plan vs. actual, future production by one or more products, facilities, or resources to facilitate planning.
Collaborative Production Management: Links manufacturing batch detail data to the production schedule, enabling operations and supply chain personnel to view process order information at a glance and in the context of the overall schedule.
Enterprise-Scale Integration: Combines data from Aspen Plant Scheduler™ applications along with corporate ERP and production systems data. Date can be published from Plant Scheduler to Analytics and ERP simultaneously. This fully integrated approach provides production personnel with the latest view of the schedule and facilitates analysis of planned vs. actual performance.
