Aspen Model Runner™
Deploy models securely and more cost effectively
Aspen Model Runner enables model authoring engineers to deploy their models to a wider range of users at reduced costs while simultaneously protecting intellectual property contained within the model. Aspen Model Runner is a core element of AspenTech's aspenONE® Process Engineering applications.
Features
- Models are exported as encrypted ASCII files from Aspen Custom Modeler® or Aspen Dynamics®, protecting sensitive information such as physical property parameters, equations, or even the process topology
- Compatible with Aspen Simulation Workbook™, enabling model execution via Microsoft® Excel spreadsheets, and with Aspen Online Deployment™, enabling a wide range of applications within process operations
- Supports all run modes—initialization, steady-state, dynamic, estimation, and optimization—and also supports snapshots and scripts
- Password save feature, allowing future maintenance with Aspen Custom Modeler or Aspen Dynamics
- The user interface is consistent with but simpler than that of Aspen Custom Modeler, making it easier to use Aspen Model Runner to execute models
Benefits
- Deploy models to a wider range of users at a substantially reduced cost
- Protect intellectual property when deploying models to internal or third-party end users
- Reduce the barriers to developing and maintaining simulation, model-based decision support systems
- Provide services that directly increase plant reliability, reduce operating costs, and increase agility in plant decision-making
