Benefit from Recent Improvements in Usability, Functionality, and Accuracy.
Aspen Capital Cost Estimator is cost estimating software that is continuously upgraded to add new functionality, as well as update the Cost Basis inside the system—ensuring an improved user experience, up-to-date design standards, and accurate cost information.
What version are you using?
ACCE V8.8.2 contains an
updated 2015 Cost Basis for material and labor costs, as well as a new model for
estimating ductile iron piping for water and wastewater applications. With a
completely overhauled workflow for creating custom user attributes, you can
easily add new fields to components to capture your specific data, such as the
country of origin or the drawing number.
Important Note: ACCE V8.8.2 is a standalone release of the
Aspen Economic Evaluation suite of software. It is not directly interoperable
with aspenONE® Engineering V8.8; however, as in previous versions,
it can coexist on the same machine or server.
ACCE V8.7.1 contains a
completely redesigned workflow for estimating electrical substations. From a
single form, you can now estimate multiple substations, such as cascading
substations. We’ve also added new specification options to fine-tune your
Also in ACCE V8.7.1, you
can take advantage of the ability to scale a project by area; estimate multi-stream
plate fin exchangers, venturi and cyclone scrubbers; and estimate piping costs
using a cost per weight basis.
ACCE V8.6 extends into detailed cost estimating with the ability to create more precise estimates. With a new Unit Rate Excel spreadsheet import/export option, you can overwrite ACCE generated values for material unit rates and unit man hours, as well as define custom materials of construction. Take advantage of this new functionality in ACCE to increase CAPEX estimate precision, reduce estimate uncertainty, and speed up estimate reviews.
ACCE V8.2 features the first six Safety Instrumented Systems
P&IDs for: vertical pressure vessels,
kettle reboilers, motor-driven centrifugal pumps (2 models), shell and tube
exchangers, storage vessels, and reciprocating compressors. These new P&IDs account for the extra piping and instrumentation required
to adhere to API RP 14C—an offshore regulation relating to equipment shutdown.
ACCE V8.2 also includes P&IDs and cost models for the
solids handling equipment added to Aspen Plus® in the V8.0 and V8.2 releases.
ACCE V8.0 includes the ability to cost alarm and communication systems, including paging and general alarms, telephone systems, CCTV, Area Networking, Radio Systems, Access Control, Intrusion detection, and more!
ACCE V8.0 also includes a new China Design Basis. With the China Design Basis, users can specify vessels, piping, and steel shapes according to Chinese design specifications.
ACCE V7.3.2 features a new spreadsheet import/export functionality that simplifies the facilitation of data between equipment lists and ACCE.
Beginning in this release, ACCE can handle mega projects. With this functionality, the estimate can be split among many contractors working on a project, and then put back together for evaluation across the entire project.
