Aspen Acol+™
Provides for the design, checking, and simulation of air-cooled or other crossflow heat exchangers
Aspen Acol+ performs the calculations for air-cooled and other crossflow heat exchangers for all common process applications, including single phase, condensation, and evaporation. X-side applications include dry air, wet air, or gas mixtures.

- Simulation: Offers seven simulation options developed to suit the requirements of exchanger users, manufacturers, and engineering contractors.
- Physical Properties: Supports the transfer of properties from AspenTech’s steady state simulators, Aspen Properties®, Aspen COMThermo®, or the heritage Aspen B-JAC™ database. More than 15,000 components and 30 vapor liquid equilibrium methods are available.
- Graphics: Provides setting plan drawing and interactive tube layout drawing for simple and complex pass arrangements.
- Integrated with Aspen Plus® & Aspen HYSYS®: Enables engineers to rigorously model heat exchanger operation and identify both capital and operational savings opportunities within the context of the overall process.
