Develop a Reactor Model with Aspen Customer Modeler
April 20, 2010 - 10:00 AM US EDT GMT-4
During this free 60-minute webinar, Paul Witt from the Dow Chemical Company will demonstrate how to:
- Develop customized RPLUG with Aspen Custom Modeler (ACM) that can be solved in sequential modular and equation-oriented environments
- Use equation-oriented modeling with ACM
- Develop custom models of specialty equipment
- Use custom models in your steady state flowsheet
Aspen Custom Modeler (ACM), designed for process engineers, uses a flow sheeting environment based on streams and equipment, and includes built-in understanding of components and process thermodynamics. Equation-oriented modeling enables the simulation of large-scale and complex processes including highly integrated processes with multiple recycles. These models may encompass entire production facilities and can be used to optimize site operating conditions. Plug flow reactors cover a wide variety of processing conditions from simple single-phase tubular reactors to complex multiphase bubble columns.
